The grapes for the Beverford Durif are sourced from the Swan Hill region, with the colour of the wine true to variety; an impenetrable dark red with a purple hue around the rim.
The nose has subtle blackberry and sweet oak, with the palate showing dark cherry cola that blends with a salted licorice. The oak input is grainy and cedary, with the tannins being savoury and drying.
The finish has length of tannin with the dark fruits dropping off along the way, an excellent value wine.
