A wine that now has a few years on it, and it has showed what a time can do to a variety that offers significant pleasure on release.
The wine has lost some of its youthful exuberance which has been replaced by complex earth and influences alongside cranberry and red cherry.
Tannins are fine, but textural and intertwined with understated spice and a bright line of acidity. The finish is long and green herbs meet glossy red cherry fruit with impressive length.
