Whole bunch shines through in this wine, and it can work very well with gamay in terms of providing impact from whole berry fermentation that provides aromatics, as well as a spicy stemmy impact. There is a cherry and wild strawberry on the nose with some sweeter spice. There is a sweet and sour interplay on the palate between the floral fruit and tuat acidity, a faint pull of cherry pip to finish. Well made, and an interesting drink.
