An aromatic and confected nose of cherry and toffee apple; the palate is clean and bright with ripe cherry having impact with grippy, firm tannins; you can taste the weight of the 14.3% alcohol which doesn't quite fit with the prettiness of the wine. All in all a very tidy package at $24.
