2014 Cloverleaf Merlot

A medium red in colour with a nose of blackberry, olive brine and a touch of plum. The palate is medium bodied with a finely textured layer of tannins that support fine but expressive blackberry fruit that also takes on some milk chocolate and understated cigar box like spice.

There is a real elegance to the wine, as it continues to open up with time in the glass. The finish has length and just starting to get some more savoury secondary notes. Great value for money.
