A light to medium red in colour, the nose gives sour red cherry with crushed herbs and fresh earth. The palate has high toned acidity and tannin with a continuation of taut cherry seen on the nose with just ripe blackberry joined by tarragon and sage. There is a floral rose petal influence to the mid palate before the long , drying finish. A compelling wine that will age well with time.
