A very inky dark red in colour, the nose doesn't give much away with tight blackberry, tobacco and pencil shavings.
The wine is firm and shows concentrated blackberry and firm framing tannins. The oak plays a secondary role and the wine needs another decade to really unravel on the mid to back palate.
