Dark to crimson red in colour the nose is somewhat more savoury than the un-oaked Teusner Joshua, it does however display similar ripe cherry and raspberry characters. On the palate there is earthy and savoury flavours that meld with darker cherry and plum fruit. The finish has fine grained tannins and subtle vanillin oak.
