2011 Buller Beverford Moscato Rosso

A strawberry red to pink in colour, with a slight spritz in the glass; the 2011 Moscato and Moscato Rosso have some interesting differences with the Moscato Rosso being denser on both the nose and palate, there is a consistent thread of pineapple and tropical fruits, however the extra 0.6% alcohol for the Moscato Rosso has made a difference in palate weight.

The Moscato Rosso is a well made and enjoyable wine for those who like them sweet, but doesn't quite have the delicacy of it's younger brother.
