Tasting
Produced from a vines planted in the Stonewell Estate vineyard in 2002, the resultant wine is vibrant and unadulterated speaking of primary fruit and less about winemaker intervention.
The wine is a bright red in the glass with a rustic nose of forrest berries and fresh sage. The palate is vibrant in terms of lively acid and firm tannins and benefits from savoury plum and old leather to finish.
A variety I haven't had much exposure to, but is a good accompaniment to food.
