Produced by Natasha Moody, this is a well priced Barossa Shiraz Grenache Mataro that looks to strike a balance between juicy dark berry fruits, savoury edged tannins and a dominant structure that comes with the inclusion of Mataro.
The wine is medium to full bodied and carried along by bright acidity, plum and dark red cherry are the dominant fruits, the tannins are firm and decidedly savoury with earthen notes as opposed to fruit framing the finish. Will need a few years to come into its own.
