2016 Z Wines Roman GSM

The wine enjoys the input of 55% Grenache that was sourced from 90 year old bush vines, 35% Shiraz and 15% Mataro. A medium red in colour the nose gives aromatic red cherries with raisin and christmas cake spice. The palate continues the thread of generosity and spice seen on the nose with the full bodied palate filling every corner of the mouth with plum and cherry, tannins and acidity are well handled and corral the wines richer components. Clean lines of dark cherry and attractive oak drive the finish.
