A pretty, glossy purple hue in the glass. The aromatics are fresh and primary with black cherry and plum given fruit driven spice and some subtle charcuterie like notes. The palate is medium to full bodied with a general savouriness to the wine that is very appealing; it shows itself through the black pepper and dark chocolate edge that adorn the drying dark berry fruits.
To finish there is a litheness of fruit and tannin with a continuation of the charcuterie notes from the nose. A well composed wine that is good value for money.
