A nose of black cherry, old leather and a touch of boot polish. The palate has vibrant acidity and tannins that contrast well with earthen plum and sour edged red fruits. There is an old world appeal to the wine with the leather and earth influence on the mid palate more impactful than fruit however fruit comes back into the fold to finish with lengh to black cherry that is accentuated by fine cocoa laced tannins. A wine of real interest.
