Medium to dark red in the glass, the nose shows rich dark cherry and earth, on the palate the influence of new oak is over evident and diminishes the cherry fruit and subtle spice. The acid structure is excellent, as is the length. Watch for this wine score to increase markedly after a few years in the bottle.
