A light red hue in the glass, the wine has a complex nose that is centered around dried and fresh herbs that are layered across background cherry and plum fruit.
This wine is delicate on entry and grows in stature across the palate. There is an underlying femininity of loose knit tannins that is juxtaposed by spicy and savoury forrest floor notes that drive exceptional length to finish.
The wine exhibits very good balance and structure; continuing to show more with time in the glass. An excellent example of what can be done with Pinot in the Canberra district.
