The wine is light to medium red in colour, from the outset you can tell it has class, the nose is highly aromatic with stalky red cherry that is interjected by savoury tight grained oak and a floral perfume.
The palate has layers of flavour that slowly unravel, there is cherry and plum that is balanced by mouth filling acidity and tannins, with a 'peacocks tail' effect across the mid palate as the wine grows in stature, spice and complexity.
The finish is long and silky, focusing on savoury dark cherry fruits, a superb wine.
