Brown Magpie's star continues to rise, this little known producer is crafting some of the best value Pinot in Victoria, with their 2011 Reserve Pinot showing their viticulture and winemaking expertise in what was a tremendously tough year.
A stemmy expression of cherry and earth on the nose. This wine is structure personified, it's lifted by spicy oak and prodigious dark cherry, there is a savoury smokey aspect that is intriguingly complex. 2011 in Victoria doesn't get better than this.
