2012 Austins & Co Greenbanks Pinot Noir

2012 looks like another great year for Geelong Pinot if the Greenbanks from Austins winery is any indication. The wine is sourced from the original block planted by the family on their Steiglitz road property.

The wine shows an attractive light red in colour, the nose has stem, spice and red cherry. It is light to medium bodied with wood spice and stem throughout. The delicate spice is contrasted by sappy red fruits and vibrant acid across the mid palate with clove inspired complexity to finish.
