A great producer, a great vintage, it's no real surprise that the resultant wine is a beautiful expression of the region and variety.
The wine is a decidedly light red in colour, with a nose that presents pristine cherry and strawberry fruits that are backed by a suggestion of savoury stem and vanillin oak spice.
Bright dark cherry benefits from a textural sappiness on the palate, spices are supportive with ripe and structural tannins interwoven with the fruit and vanillin oak to give complexity to finish. Drinking very well now, but will also reward time in the cellar.
