The Chemin represents minimal intervention, burgundian techniques and consistently provides a wine of interest that shows varietal Pinot characters, but with a more rustic and earthy edge.
In terms of colour the wine is a light red with a slight cloudiness that is not out of place given there was no fining or filtration. The nose gives sweet stem, generous spice and well defined red berry fruits.
The palate has great acidity that gives a sour edge to the cherry and plum fruited palate, the spices are broad and generous with tannins fine and supporting. The finish is elegant and savoury.
