Tasting
Sourced from the Adelaide Hills, the feral fox is a consistently good wine in the d'Arenberg lineup. A light red hue in the glass the nose is a mix of savoury stem, red cherry and understated rhubarb.
A medium bodied wine that has floral red fruits supported by fine filaments of tannin and juicy acidity. Oak is a secondary thought, providing structure and a touch of cinnamon / nutmeg.
The wine finishes with elegance, but without compelling drive.
