Farr Rising started it's life as the sole focus of Nick Farr prior to taking over the reigns from his Father Gary Farr in the production of the by Farr label.
The label is still produced and is consistently excellent and offers wines at a reduced price point when compared to it's bigger brothers.
The wine gives a youthful red in the glass with bright varietal cherry fruit with much gentler, and subtle spice / savoury notes when compared to a number of the 2013 by Farr releases. The wine still has a lovely savoury spine that is well contrasted by red fruits.
A supple, complete and delicious Pinot Noir.
