A light red in the glass, a timely reminder that a kind hand with colour extraction in Pinot Noir can have such an effect on the subtlety and elegance of the resultant wine.
This is a wine that I could smell all day, the floral aromatics that are interwoven with baking spice, stem and Forrest floor are a triumph and sets lofty expectations for the rest of the wine experience...which is delivered in spades.
The wine has a peacocks tail of tannin and spice, with cherry fruit getting more concentrated and mouth filling across the journey, this wine really is an iron fist in a velvet glove, subtle elegance with a textural, piercing drive.
