A light almost ruby red in colour, the nose gives sweet and jubey red fruits that benefit from a spicy vanillin oak lift.
The palate has plenty of fruit that follows more of a tidal wave approach at this stage in it's development, rather than the fruit unfolding in layers. The good news is there is ample tannin that brings everything together and an impressive savoury kick to finish. I really think that this wine will completely evolve over the next few years. This is a wine that i look forward to tracking down in a few years time to see what it has become.
