A great name, and equally good wine. The Menage a Noir label is anything but entry level, the wine speaks of place and winemaker influence. The nose is a savoury and herbaceous expression of dark cherry that is accentuated with a touch of sweeter oak induced spice.
The palate has pretty fruit and oak alongside a darker more savoury side that pulls through the forrest floor and dominant sage like spice influences seen on the nose.
Lethbridge continues to produce some very good wine, this one in particular is excellent value.
