2013 Punt Road Estate Pinot Noir

The 2013 Pinot was hand picked, with the ferment including both whole berry and whole bunches. Post ferment the wine was racked to French oak, of which approximately 25% were new. The wine spent 10 months in barrel prior to bottling.

A medium red hue in the glass, the nose gives spicy red cherry and jubey raspberry strap characters, there is a similar bright primary fruit influence of cherry and raspberry on the palate, drying tannins and charred oak provide a bracing contrast at this point in the wines development, expect this wine to integrate further in years to come.
