Tasting
The 2013 is an excellent follow up to the exceptional 2012, one of my favourite Pinot's sub $50. The wine is a light red in colour with red cherry fruits, baking spices and a touch of stem and meat on the nose.
The palate has good structure and depth of red cherry fruit, savoury spices add complexity and complements the structural tannins, a peacock's tail' to finish with a complex array of fruit, spice and charcuterie flavours filling the mouth.
This will get even better with short to medium term cellaring.
