This is only the second release of Pinot Noir from Silent Way and is sourced from a vineyard in Kilmore within the Macedon ranges region.
The wine is youthful with raspberry strap and bright cherry framing the still primary fruited nose. It is medium bodied with good texture and mouth feel that is underpinned by bright acidity. The flavours are in the dark cherry spectrum with background spices evident but sure to impose themselves further in years to come. Give this wine a few years and watch it flourish.
