Tasting
The Foggy Hill vineyard is an exceptionally cool site, the vineyard was planted 12 years ago and if the 2012 and 2013 vintages are anything to go by, the site selection will rival many Pinot Noir strong holds across the country.

The fruit was de-stemmed before fermentation and saw 10 months in oak, a proportion of 30% new. This is a wine of delicacy and finesse, in terms of colour it's a very light red, on the nose it shows a delicate dusting of spice and sappy undertones to aromatic and varietal red cherry, if you look deeper there is some Beetroot savouriness there as well.

The wine builds across the palate, textural acidity with a web of fine tannins support a red fruit laden expression of the variety, oak gives some spice and subtle richness on the mid to back palate. A pristine fruit focused finish with length to burn.
