2013 Tokar Estate Pinot Noir

The 2013 represents a real step up when compared to the 2012, the wine is more complete, with the individual components of oak, fruit and tannin handled masterfully in isolation, and when brought together provide a fulfilling drinking experience.

The nose is laden with spicy raspberry and cherry fruit with attractive notes of new French oak.

The palate has elegance and structure with a depth and concentration of fruit that builds; it starts with bright red cherry and raspberry and gains a more spicy and savoury character as it weaves towards the drying finish.

Time will be very kind to this wine.
