2014 Collalto Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir

A medium red with lighter hues towards the rim, the nose strikes a balance between aromatic yet savoury stem characters and varietal cherry, with time there is a touch of undergrowth that comes through.

A medium bodied wine with juicy acidity and undertones of beetroot and forrest floor, fruit is in the dark cherry spectrum and is tightly bound with tannins and oak framing the wine but also underpinning further savoury complexity in years to come.

This is a great follow up to 2013, showcasing the quality and potential for cellaring of Pinot Noir from Lenswood.
