2014 Mount Mary Pinot Noir

An icon of the Yarra Valley, the 2014 release speaks volumes of the year, it was low yielding with small berries that have produced wines of great colour, concentration and the potential for longevity.

A beautiful red in the glass that is darker than many out of the valley, the nose is immensely concentrated with floral cherry notes and layers of quality french oak amply supported by more savoury stem.

There is a juicy, seamless character to the wine with dark cherry, plum and rhubarb up front and more elegant oak spice and earth notes bringing in complexity and contrast on the long finish.

This will continue to evolve over the medium term.
