2014 Punt Road Napoleone Vineyard Pinot Noir

A medium red hue as expected from a young Pinot, the nose is one of concentration with well used whole bunch inputs giving a savoury spice to the dense dark cherry, plum and beetroot aromas.

The palate has drive and depth, full dark cherry is laden with spice and wrapped around a savoury core that interjects with enough tannins and acid to contrast the wines youthful exuberance.

The finish shows concentration of dark cherry, with some smokey undertones and drying tannin. This wine will reward time.
