Tasting
This is the entry level Pinot from Scorpo and it well and truly hits above it's price point. The wine has complex aromatics with red cherry and plum accentuated by savoury spice.
The palate has a generous yet structured mouth feel, dense cherry fruit is supple but gains savoury unertones that builds into baking spice and drying but fine tannins. There is expansive length to finish, with the wine sure to evolve in the years to come.
A great value Mornington Pinot Noir.
