2015 Tomich Woodside Park Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir

This is another impressive release from Tomich who are crafting some great value wines from the Adelaide Hills. A light strawberry red in the glass, the nose has a characteristic earthen backdrop for the region with sweeter cherry fruit, and gentle herbs on show.

The palate gives depth of red berry fruits against a brooding, savoury core. The tannins on this wine speak of the earth from which it has has come, there is a drying, mouth puckering dark cherry and touch of varnish to finish.

This is a well made, regional and varietal wine that will greatly reward time in the cellar.
