A light to medium red hue in the glass, the nose gives stewed cherry and rhubarb with plenty of savoury earth nuance.
The palate gives nice contrast between sweeter cherry and oak spice to the undergrowth and earth characters that dominate the mid to back palate, the tannins grow across the palate with a slight bitterness to finish which should soften with time.
A well made wine.
