2017 Warramunda Estate Pinot Noir

This is a floral, expressive and above all an elegant Pinot Noir that speaks of the 2017 vintage and enjoyed the benefits of a couple of years in bottle. A medium red in the glass the nose has spiced cherry with some earth and sandalwood notes. Cherry fruits tend to dark on the palate and are supported by firm but fine tannins, the mid palate opens up with earthen spice and prettier red berry fruits before leading to a finish that has fruit and oak in equal measure and impressive length.
