A medium red hue in the glass, the nose shows dark cherry and rhubarb with some alcohol warmth. The palate is broad and shows little to no varietal characters, bordering on dry red territory with drying tannins and a sappiness to plum like fruit. The finish has driving acidity that a is at odds the wines other characteristics.
