A light red in the glass with good clarity, the nose is subtle and builds with red cherry fruit alongside cranberry and fresh earth. There is a herbaceous thread that works in with fine, compact tannins; fruit at this point is secondary to texture and mouthfeel but will show more in time. The finish has delicate red cherry with a floral and spiced note.
