A decidedly light red in the glass, aromatics are floral with red cherry with an array of brown spice and earth. The palate has a drying baseline of bitter dark cherry but enough lighter berry fruits and spice influences to give contrast. The wine has good weight and is more on the savoury side of the Pinot Noir spectrum, but will be sure to age.
