A blend from a number of vineyards with 30% carbonic and made in a juicy, fresh and generous style.
In terms of colour it is a light to medium red with good clarity. Aromatics speak of the carbonic with juicy red berry fruits that are a great complement to the savoury, earthen and rhubarb influences the region is known for.
The palate ia generous and starts with red cherry and rhubarb before baking herbs and bramble frame the mid palate. The finish has drying tannins, giving a moreishness to the wine.
Clever winemaking here to create a wine that gives immediate enjoyment, but don't be fooled it will continue to give more over the next few years.
