This NV release from Sidewood is a blend of Pinot Noir (60%) and Chardonnay (40%) that is made in an aperitif style and great value at $20.
The nose is citrus dominant and supported by oyster shell and yeasty brioche aromatics. There is a racy, lemony backbone of acidity that gives the wine structure. Green apple and richer strawberry notes add breadth and mouthfeel before a return of driving citrus acidity to frame the finish.
