A medium red hue in the glass, the nose is inviting with earth, morello cherry, spice, raspberry and even some sullen tarry notets. The palate is medium to full bodied with oak giving richness and a svelteness to layers of savoury tannin, dark cherry dominate the mid palate with a touch of kirsch and new leather giving contrast. There is length of drying dark berry fruits with a twist of oak spice to finish.
