Tasting
1989 was not a great year, the vintage was described as wet, wet, wet'.
The wine is almost devoid of fruit on the nose with iodine and earth dominating. The palate has some structure through a tannin and acid profile that is still holding but what leathery fruit that remains has become a little one dimensional.
One to drink now.
