This wine is made in an old school Barossa style with extracted fruit and oak. The nose is over the top with confected plum fruits, a fair whack of oak and touch of old leather.
The palate is dense with an array of dark fruits and grainy oak, this is a style that will excite some, but to my palate it is one dimensional and lacks structure.
