Medium to full red in colour, the wine took some time to open up in the glass, but once it did there was plum, pencil shavings and cedary oak inputs.
The wine is all plum and cherry across the front to mid palate after which dark chocolate, supple tannins and nice acidity combine.
The finish has good length of dark berries and a the slightest touch of spice. The wine is showing well now but needs a number of years to really hit it's straps.
