Impenetrable red in the glass , the nose has attractive French oak and dark berries. The palate is big but has well balanced acidity,oak and tannins that stop it going 'over the top'. The palate has blackberry and plum in equal measure and needs time to develop secondary characteristics in the mid to back palate. The long finish shows the remnants of excellent oak and concentrated fruit. This wine will cellar well and continue to evolve.
