Almost black in the glass with a youthful dark purple around the rim. The nose has sour edged plum and blackberry that is supported by vanillin oak and hints of liquorice.
The palate is densely fruited with a tannin and acid structure that is screaming out for time in the cellar with tightly bound plum and dark cherry unfurling ever so slightly, showing lifted spices and milk chocolate, just enough to get you very excited about it's future.
Don't get me wrong, this wine is drinking extremely well now, i just think that in a few years it will be superb.
