This wine is produced from some of the finest fruit in the Barrossa, and it shows. The nose is incredibly dense and spicy with great concentration yet retaining balance with both fruit and oak in harmony. There are layers of dark berried fruits on the palate with interjections of spice and vanillin oak. The tannins are evident, but play a supporting role, the wine finishes with prodigious length of plum and dark cherry.
